Peter Schroen x Wallifornia.cc
The most Walloon of all Dutchmen
Peter Schroen is a name that commands respect in the cycling world. Born in Eijsden, just across the border, he has been deeply connected to Belgian and Walloon cycling culture for many years. He may well be the most Walloon Dutchman on two wheels.
A former professional cyclist, Peter raced in the 1980s for teams such as Skil-Reydel-SEM and Skala-Gazelle. He experienced the peloton from the inside and, after his racing career, continued to build his place in the cycling world.
That same passion later brought him into the bicycle industry. As the founder of Carbonbike, he became a respected figure in the Benelux, with a strong focus on high-end cycling brands, service and genuine expertise. His story is one of racing, entrepreneurship and a deep love for the bike.
For Wallifornia.cc, Peter is the perfect ambassador. He understands what cycling means here: characterful roads, demanding climbs, strong stories and, above all, a community of people who truly feel the spirit of the sport.
